Co-op Supervisors Hot Buffet Breakfast and Tech Open House

Last week CHSS held their Semi-Annual Co-op Supervisors Hot Buffet Breakfast and Tech Open House in the cafeteria.  It was an opportunity to thank all of this semesters’ co-op supervisors and also have all of the Tech rooms available for local businesses and trades people to tour and talk to the teachers about their programs and the 4 Specialist High Skills Majors that are offered at CHSS.  Many of this semester’s co-op students were in one of our 4 SHSMs’, Information Communication Technology, Health and Wellness, Manufacturing and Agriculture.
Thanks to all the supervisors who spent much of their time helping to teach, guide, mentor and grow our students skills over the course of the semester.  It was greatly appreciated.
A special thanks to Heather and the staff of Nutritional Management Services for the amazing hot buffet breakfast, the custodians for opening up the school early in the morning and Conrad Kuiper for taking the pictures which are posted here.
Once again we would like to say thanks to all those businesses and individuals who currently have a CHSS co-op student this semester and to those who have already agreed to take a CHSS studentnext semester for a co-op placement.
